ROUND 2 NOW OPEN!
I am encouraging local community groups in the Darebin and surrounding areas to pitch their ideas for grants under the second round of the Government’s Stronger Communities Grants Program.
Details and forms have been updated below. Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact my office.
What could your community group do with $20,000?
The Stronger Communities Program asks Members of Parliament to engage with their communities to recommend capital investment projects that strengthen their communities.
Up to $150,000 of funding will be available in Batman for small capital projects which improve community participation and contribute to the vibrancy and viability of local communities.
I’ve got an idea! What do I need to do?
Grants of between $5000 and $20,000 are available for capital projects, but to be eligible, the projects require matched contributions, in cash or in kind on at least a dollar for dollar basis.
How do I apply?
Applying for a Batman Stronger Communities Grant is an easy process.
